☀ There's a lot going on this month with the characters scattered for missions, so the main event log itself is not as dense and doubles as a chill tdm for new characters, and will likely be the last tdm for this game. Austice's plot will wrap up in the next couple months and endgame is projected to be ~June. As such, April will be the last month that full AC is required, after which the game will be check-in AC only.

for kuja.. he's a very loud character that sweeps people up into his drama often, and frankly i want to push him into listening more to others this month. like... he got empathy forcibly poured by himself into his brain, but he needs to put in some actual practice.

I'm still working out the specifics of what Papyrus's bad end nightmare will be, but I know I do want to throw him at Kuja in some way or another. I need an excuse for him to admiringly point out that, wow, he didn't know how important and useful it could be, to kidnap and then completely unkidnap someone to the point of losing them for years!! You know, like a wiseass.

Aira happens to be on the more normal end of that spectrum. He's not especially talented or strong and is in fact kind of a liability all things considered. But he's really good at grounding his unitmates/family and will step up for their sake.
Vivi is a huge sweetie, and recently remembered that he's supposed to be dead. He's a lil mage from a medieval-steampunk world and has been somewhat focused on his new family dynamics as well as whatever new crap Kuja's gotten into.
Plans: Aira is planning on getting more acquainted with healing herbs and how to bandage and clean injuries. He's no good at fighting so he's going to hold up the other end and help with healing and comforting the others as much as possible.
Vivi on the other had has been working on healing for a bit with minimal results. He can at least do manual healing at this point and first aid. I plan on having him try to reach out and make more friends here now that we're figuring more out about what this place is.

♣️ Community Garden: One of the late wishes of the former Mayoi was that he made plans to create a community garden. This month, I want him to bring that wish to fruition in honor of that Mayoi’s life. Does your muse have any edible plants or herbs they would like to contribute? Due to dream logic, he will take on the form of a literal spirit — turn invisible at will, walk through walls, the works! The item he’ll end up in this dream varies, depending on the partner. It can range from another person and maybe under another scenario, he can have his altered memory restored, but one item I want Mayoi to retrieve is one of his occult books. Perhaps he could potentially use it in tandem with the demon summoning book he inherited from the former Mayoi.

Oh hey! Papyrus didn't have extensive cr with the previous Mayoi, but they met on the initial train ride, and I think they had a couple other interactions... To the gist of Papyrus initially scaring Mayoi by being a loud skeleton at him, and then a little bonding over the whole 'living exiled and under human society' thing.
Another potential hook is, right now Papyrus is under the impression that he and Sans are from different universes, because their memories don't match up very well. Before the event he could offer some input on the question of being Real vs choosing to connect to the familiar people anyway... and after the event, and he regains his non-altered memories, he'll be able to offer the insight that maybe they're actually the same Mayoi, just with memory weirdness, after all.

Sorry this took so long to get back to!! I’ve mostly been focusing on writing since my free time is limited.
But I’d love for Papyrus to come talk to Mayo! Really want him to make some noncanon friends! I think having someone who’s lived under similar circumstances as he has will build a nice solid foundation between them (once he gets over the realization that… he’s talking to a literal skeleton lmaaaooo)
And I like the idea of Papyrus helping Mayoi with his insecurity over being here before and just the realization that he won’t be as useful as he was when he lived in the Nest (and possibly the fact that he might not even be the same Mayoi???). It’s just a mess for him, right now! Reassurance can help! <3

Deuce is based on one of the card soldiers from Alice in Wonderland and can be described as earnest, impulsive, and airheaded. He was your stereotypical bad boy back in middle school, but now he strives to be a good boy but is hampered by the fact that he's not very bright sometimes and tends to make rash decisions.
Plans: Things I'm interested in this event:
-meeting all kinds of weird animal friends! Let's accidentally poke a bear, everybody!
-May or may not do the dream thing, we'll see. I'm definitely willing for him to be dragged into people's dreams.

Qiqi's personality has turned very strongly onto trying to rehab zombies, so she's like to try and insistently strong arm anyone she can into far fetched soothing schemes.

He's spent the last several months remembering a past life as a human, believing that he's a reanimated human skeleton, and that maybe his and Sans's memories conflict from being from different universes...? He's also done his best not to dwell on or examine the gaps and contradictions in that past, because why dwell on the past when there's a present and future to be focusing on!!!
Plans: Which means, of course, I'm going to be giving him a nightmare prompt, the better to shatter that version of his past and remind him of his childhood. As Undertale tells us nothing about Papyrus before he and Sans showed up in Snowdin, this is going to be headcanon town.
💀 Nightmare, sillier side: On one level, the nightmare is going to be What If the skeleton brothers had continued living in Hotland - the obviously volcanic part of Mt. Ebott, full of metal scaffolding over the magma core. It's Papyrus's least favorite nightmare, not least because of how many of the paths use pressurized steam vents to send people flying through the air over gaps above the magma. He's happy to complain about it at length.
💀 Nightmare, sadder side: On another level, the What If they hadn't moved... because Papyrus hadn't chosen to push himself (by pushing his brother) to move on from a strange grief they can't properly remember. Grief as if another font-named scientist was a skeleton and a father, before a science accident that shattered him across space/time in ways made him and those close to him somewhat forgettable. No making dreams of the Royal Guard, no surrounding himself in a cleaned home with decorations that he enjoys. An apartment near the lab, the place a mess, the machine not yet repaired though surely closer and closer to it...! And, well, depending on when this vision takes place, probably no peaceful rule by Queen Toriel, either.
💀 Papyrus is also part of the Lark Investigation mission of seeing if they can put the dead to rest, as Lark has ominously told them that the fields around the graveyard are "full" and the dead are "angry, hurt" and "may swallow the world" if not tended to. Fingers crossed, huh?
