just a little summary
Hi everyone, it's Bella! I know I didn't do a proper introduction so let me do that now—I'm new, I'm playing everyone's favorite big sister knight Arashi Narukami from Ensemble Stars!, and if you haven't gotten the chance to tag her yet, well. Maybe after this month, she's a little MIA right now. We'll see how things go.
But that's not the point of this post! I've gone through both the investigation post and meeting post to summarize some details, just to make sure we're all on the same page. I'll try to keep this post updated, but for now... Let's get to it!
As a note, this is going to be a long post. Sorry about that! I've tried to make it easy to read.
INVESTIGATION POST:
These don't necessarily match Ori's numbers one-to-one, but they're what I thought were relevant out of the threads had! This is also available on miroboard, though it's not as detail-heavy and doesn't have links.
Crow:Weird how clean this place is when the rest of the house is pretty "swept once a week graciously" dusty.
Outside:
MEETING POST:
As of 01/26/23:
The Void, brought up by Kuja and its progress
Crow's murder, brought up by Kokichi.
HiMERU brings up what he and Arashi found out, namely the duplicate house key in the couch cushions, the shattered gemstone in the fireplace, and further analysis of the state of Crow's body. Phil offers to check the gemstone to see who it belongs to.
In another toplevel by Diluc specifically about the poison, Wave talks about poisons and how they work.
Eula is offering up sword training and self-defense classes! Byleth can assist.
Leo brings up the bleeding trees, as well as meeting Maggie in the very dangerous woods and some information from Sparrow about the trees—namely that the trees are "wardens" who watch over people, and that evidently if you bury a body beneath one they'll wake up in another world. Residents from here die for good when killed as well.
Rinne talks about demons, or rather, the demon summoning ritual they got—which seems to be the reason for why everyone's memories island-side were wiped.
Yuri brings up Crow's mail, which was a package addressed to Crow from Maggie and which contained multiple individuals' gem shards. Maggie doesn't remember anything about this though, and hasn't been able to participate in any demon rituals with Sparrow, though she lets Sparrow take her hair and blood when she asks.
Tsukasa asks about a missing person.
Wave talks about the stained glass tree in the church and a possible ritual to bring others over to the Nest.
The train is operational, as reported by Hiyori.
That's about it! I'll be keeping an eye on both posts to update accordingly, but even I'm only human, so if there's anything pertinent to bring up please comment with it and a link to the comment in question! I'm a "cite your sources" kind of girl. Thank you and I hope this helps even a little bit!

Crow:
- Blood splotch in the center of his chest; the blood smell permeates the rest of the house, hinting he's been bleeding out here for a while. There's a knife. It's just a regular chef's knife from a set.
- There's less blood than you'd think coming from a stabbing, so there's some possibility it was done postmortem.
- Ulceration in mouth and extremities are slightly blue-gray, like in Jay's murder.
- His sternum has stitches running from top to bottom; they're "past 24 hours" recent.
- His heart is missing.
- Lump on the back of his head; it's not very big and has no distinguishing features, but had to have been a heavy blow.
- Bottom of his shoes are dirty from being outside, and the backs of them are a little scuffed, like he might've been dragged. No bruises on him though, so they didn't have to use too much vicegripping to pick him up.
- Crow's body must've been wrapped or covered up in some way to keep the blood off him and save the trouble of washing everything off
- Pockets: a folded up wrapper of some sort of sweet smelling snack, a ballpoint pen (blue), two linked paperclips, and a single coin of roughly hammered silver with no discernible markings on either side
- Gemstone in the fireplace; it's in half a dozen pieces, red with black spots.
- There's a duplicate house key between the couch cushions
- "The living room looks too clean and bloodless for him to have been stabbed here, and if he was poisoned it must've been by somebody very good at washing and drying cups"
- Also fairly clean for someone who sweeps maybe once a week
- Missing knife from set (it's in Crow's chest)
- One or two cups in the dishwasher which doubles as a drying rack, they're scrubbed very clean
- Lots of vodka, lots of fruit juices. A cocktail kind of guy.
- Note in the bedroom door: "TIKTOK GOES THE CLOCK / SETTING THE FUTURE AFLAME / TURNING IT TO ASHES / POSSIBILITIES DECREASING, / REGRETS INCREASING / BECAUSE THERE'S NOT ENOUGH TIME / WHETHER YOU LIVE OR DIE / IS DETERMINED BY / HOW MANY SECONDS YOU BURN"
- Book marked at chapter 3: I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou; has dirt caught in the spine of the book
- Gemstone pieces in a box beneath Crow's bed; they're completely clear.
- "The room and house itself is a little dusty but not particularly dirty, it's the kind of dusty where you open the windows to let the dust blow out or otherwise sweep maybe once a week."
- Everything is spotless, scrubbed completely clean.
- Except for this red smudge on the bottom of the sink, as if something bloody had rubbed off on it and it hadn't been cleaned off entirely
- The medicine cabinet has: a bottle of white tablets and one of blue capsules and one of an off-white powder. None are labeled and all are shoved to the back corner, like they're "as needed" medications.
- The off-white powder doesn't mix well in the water; somewhat, but not all the way, with residue falling to the bottom. Sipping it tastes like nothing and also does nothing.
- On the other hand, the off-white powder almost immediately dissolves in alcohol and even a small sip of it is enough to cause dizziness and weakness as if they'd been up for 72 hours straight, and then knock a person out immediately. Larger doses could possible induce death immediately.
- No one really saw anything, no one heard anything the night-of either.
- But! The communal dumpster nearby has several large towels stiff with blood and several wads of bloody nitrile gloves
- She has a doll beneath her pillow—blonde hair, blue eyes, light dress.
- There's a gemstone inside; it's pure black, highly polished, and tapers not unlike an egg towards the end.
MEETING POST:
As of 01/26/23:
- Hellhound Attack & Magic Nullification, brought up by Qiqi and her request to turn the bell off.
- Disturbing the dead might have let the dogs out.
- The red gemstones Ala has are from the dogs, but they only dropped them this time, not previously.
- Powers were nulled this time too; the difference between now and before is the weather. Clear skies the first time, blood rain this time.
- The bell also rung twice this time.
- Marcus has successfully been in the void and back again, with some notes on the inside.
- Sans notes that time in the void is different inside and out, and that the void seems to run through possibilities before things take effect from inside it.
- Let's just fill it up with blood ocean, like with an aqueduct, but that poses plenty of problems too.
- The knife in his body wasn't "stuck in right", and he didn't have a heart. That makes this the third one.
- Kokichi voices it might be a calling card, but Amami points out that this body and the previous one have been handled different.
- Amami offers that hearts might be being taken for demon summoning.
- Hiyori has a neat medical summary of Crow, postmortem. Diagnosis: died by poisoning.
- Kaeya mentions the poison was found in the medicine cabinet.
- Sunrise notes that Crow's ghost wasn't in the house. As a note, this meeting is held on the 25th, so Crow's ghost should be walking around the Nest by now, as it appeared on the 24th.
- Phil talks about the extreme cleanliness of the bathroom, except for that red smudge on the bottom of the sink. It's possible, due to the deep-cleaning of this area, that this is where the heart surgery took place.
- Kaeya brings up searching Crow's bedroom, including the note that was found between the door—very ransom-note-esque lettering—and its sticker, as well as Leo's finding of the box with shattered clear gemstone pieces, and Crow's current reading: "I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings," in good condition except for the dirt in its spine.
- Ala thinks it sounds like a countdown, just like the last note mentioned only having a month.
- Matoba asks if we have any suspects. List so far is looking like:
- Sparrow, who specializes in demon summoning, brought up by Kokichi.
- Lark, who was exiled from town by Crow, mentioned by Kuja.
- Maggie, brought up by Ala as being the only person there all night.
- Sans takes out two-thirds of the suspect list by mentioning who hasn't killed, but he hasn't been able to get a read on Maggie or Crow.
- There's sign-ups for those interested in helping out.

I see you're also using this for signups, that's actually a great idea to keep everything in order, thank you, you make me the happiest person in the entire world...
RITUAL SIGNUPS?
The Idea: Perform a ritual simultaneously in two separate locations (on the island and at the Nest), hopefully at the tree depicted in the stained glass window on the island and/or a matching point of importance on the Nest side.
The Personnel: If you're in, tell us whether your character would be part of the ritual team or the fight team that will be on duty to protect the ritual team from DANGER!!
also let us know if your character is stuck on the island side and also if they have any important skills pls and thank you~

He's also got offensive artes as well as shields that can temporarily slow any attackers down, just in case.
EDITING TO ADD Phil is also capable of opening transfer gates between places, which might be useful in a pinch!
fight fight fight fight
he has one skill, and it's fight. also while by default he'd be inclined to go where Phil is, since they have an emotional connection there might be some utility in splitting them onto different sides.

His special, important skills are 'can fight with bladed weaponry', and what I dub abyssal magic.
