"Mini-Memoria" Plotting Post (it's a memshare player plot!)
time to d-- memshare, everyone
THE CONCEPT:
February 11th, Kuja's gonna finally attain his big furry supermode, and try to meld time & space to reach the origin of all life. Won't work. But what it WILL do is make weird, rippling auroras all over the place that will toss you into someone else's memory when you touch it! They'll appear anywhere in town, indoors and out, and can pop up very suddenly. Inside these wavering lights are vague visions of other places and times... if you get too close, you'll find yourself within that vision yourself.
They can be reasonably avoided; it's not covering the whole of town completely. These auroras vary in size, ranging from 'something you could find when you open a cabinet' to 'this is making crossing the street inconvenient.' After someone enters an aurora and experiences it, it disappears, and might reappear somewhere else.
Practically, what this is gonna look like is "Kuja turns red and more furry, makes a weird ominous magical orb in the middle of town, and is either stopped or tuckers himself out after half an hour."
The effects are going to start sometime in the evening, and end at midnight, because that's kind of the vibe in Austice, y'know? There's no obvious tell when the event starts, except... a slowly growing feeling that something is terribly wrong? Then the weird warps in reality start popping up like daisies, naturally.
The effects will last until the stroke of midnight, even with the dispersal of Kuja's.. funny pink orb. Getting rid of the orb will make it way less bad, making the auroras all much smallerand thus harder to notice. Also, that feeling of doom will be gone, which is nice.
Characters who touch an aurora will be sucked into someone else's memory along with anyone close by, vanishing from the town until their experience of it concludes. But the memory doesn't have to come from one of the characters dragged in-- instead, we'll be cherry picking memories to experience from a communal bank everybody can choose to contribute to~!
You can also choose to put up closed memories for specific characters to see, since some things you might wanna have shared from your guy's backstory.. wouldn't work out so well getting released to the general public.
Beyond just canon memories, you can share experiences from ingame, too, but give a heads up to your thread partner if you ARE sharing an Austice scene!!
The way the memories play out ICly is really up to what you personally want to do with what people put out there.. one-and-done flashback? yeah! A movie you can move around in? I've always wanted to do that. Interactive area that gives out info as you press on it? Cool as hell!
SO UH.. DEALING WITH KUJA (you can skip to the tl;dr: if you're just here for memshare):
No one technically has to, since he's going to totally burn himself out after about half an hour on his own and give up forever on... whatever the hell he was trying to do, but if you want you can come give it a shot! He's set up shop at the memorial for the lost constructed months back by Rinne and Kotetsu, and the auroras are especially dense around him - after a certain point, you can't approach without going through one. I ask that 4 characters max enter the, uh, boss aurora together, because there's a lil puzzle room inside. After they escape, the boss aurora will vanish, and anybody can get through.
Boss fight team's assembled! It's Kokichi, Wave, Vivi, and Andy.
Kuja will be very manic and threaten people that try to stop him with scary pyrotechnics, but if spoken to he will talk plenty. When has Kuja not ran his mouth at every opportunity? He's not going to stop now of all times. Maybe you can talk him down...?
I have a solid idea for what's set off his supermode, ftr - he hasn't checked on his gem since before his first death(s), and it's in pret-ty rough shape after all that. I was thinking I could have checking the gem come up in a thread with someone, so if you're interested in that, let me know! Kuja will IMMEDIATELY be fleeing the scene after he transforms, zipping off to the memorial to start the show. Kinda seems like he planned this.
TL;DR:
So, friends, let's make that memory bank!! Here's a form, and there's a header below to comment to with it. You're free to add as many as you want if you come up with more later. I'm erring on the side of 5-6 max per guy, myself.
Let's all have fun & advance or make CR in fresh exciting ways~!
Please use this post to toss ideas at each other about memories you want to share. You can find someone to experience some memories alongside, since... that gives you someone to roleplay with, unless what you want to thread out is the aftermath of experiencing it. That would be cool too!!! Go top level with your wildest dreams when the IC post goes up!!

- Please use the form below to submit memories to the collective memory bank if you're interested!
- Try to find the center of all this madness and Kuja's there, feeding power into a glowy pink orb. After the first half hour he will either be there but too tired to keep feeding it magic, or somebody's stopped him, one way or another.
- Even if you don't really have time to jump in on the event yourself, sharing memories for the bank is welcome!
- GO FORTH AND PLOT

open memories for Kuja + Brahne. who's is whose? Yes.
anyway, some of these are long, so it's okay to only see a fragment of them instead of the whole thing. follow your heart.
1 / Kuja's first trip away from home. He's 4 here! He doesn't look 4, but he is. His hair and fur is shorter, red, and he has no feathers, but he looks the exact same age.
Kuja is sent by his creator, Garland, to visit the planet Gaia. He entertains the idea of running away, but opts instead to bide his time and goes off on his task. For passing the test of mettle, Garland tells him why he considers him a failed creation: the first question Kuja had ever asked him was a curious, 'why?'.
2/ tea time in hell!!! Kuja asks for Queen Brahne to lend him her soul, so that he can overthrow his master. Notable differences is just. where's his tail???
3/ This one's like, an explorable space, with a distracted Kuja drifting around doing busywork. No tail again this time. It's some kind of workshop, with lots of arcane odds and ends, fabric scraps and sewing supplies, in the corner some sort of rattling, thrumming engine made out of a motley of scrap, leaking small amounts of... steam or fog. On a worktable, there's a weird egg, made out of patched together fabric. Occasionally it rocks slightly. Beside it--
Beside it is a bundle of child-sized clothes, boots and gloves, topped by a floppy hat with rough stitchwork. You might recognize them all as Vivi's. If Kuja's left to do his thing in the memory, you'll see him assemble the 'egg,' clothes, and some bits and bobs into-- well, an unconscious Vivi, in his little tiny entirety.
4/ Kuja, sans feathers and tail, riding on the open deck of an airship that's skimming along atop a swirling sea of fog. He's wearing much more humble clothes than usual, though he's still got his midriff and thighs out because he is allergic to full coverage. He charms one of the crewmates into showing him the engine room, saying "Mist power is amazing~!", and gets them to leave him alone with it. He talks to himself in front of the busy engine, musing that it's so strange, that these machines are a reason he was born... and that it's fucking wild that the Gaians are using the souls of their dead for a power source, without even knowing it.
5/ Kuja, red hair, blue eyes, and no feathers again, with a young blond boy (4-5? a little younger than Anya) who has a lil monkey tail just like him. They're walking through a bizarre town full of other Genomes, though all of the other people seem... checked out, in a way they aren't. They're having a discussion about what a 'family' is, with Kuja lecturing on them as if they're an alien concept. The boy asks if they're brothers, which shocks Kuja, before he angrily insists they aren't, and that if he's going to call them brothers, he might as well say that about EVERYONE here. Kid's confused. They live together and Kuja looks after him and they were made by the same man, that sounds like how he'd described an older and younger sibling?
Kuja continues to insist it's not the same at all.
6/ CW with this one for a kid getting kidnapped/abandoned, and like. scary physical threats from a father to son.
Kuja, same appearance, in a room with the young boy again, him reading a completely normal book that looks comically out of place in Weird Body Horror World while the kid is restlessly poking around. The kid asks if they can go play, and Kuja says no, at first-- then changes his mind, and promises to take him on a trip. Kid asks if they should tell Master Garland, Kuja's like "nooooo if we asked him he'd just tell you to go study more, he hates anything frivolous, right?". They get to the edge of town, a floating eyeball sentry thing following them the whole way. Kuja maneuvers them both so the sentry can't see their faces as they talk, and he says that from here, they have to race the rest of the way, and that he'll tell him when to start. Kuja whirls around, and kills the sentry with a bolt of magic-- and they take off, getting on a dragon to fly off.
Time passes, and Kuja returns on the dragon -- alone. Garland is waiting for him, and interrogates him about where the kid is. Kuja insists he's somewhere Garland can never find him -- and not even he knows where he is now, so there's no use trying to get it out of him. Garland lifts him up with telekinesis in basically a Vader Force Choke, and Kuja starts with lots of panicked rasping coaxing that 'it'll take too long to raise another, think of how much time you'll lose, I can still do my job!'
Garland eventually decides that he'll let Kuja go.. but is exiling him from Terra.
7/ Kuja in Treno for the first time! No feathers or tail, shorter hair, still visibly the same age as always, same clothes as the airship scene. He looks wide eyed and overwhelmed, taking in the dark city and its throngs of people... on the street, he walks by a man who he looks passingly similar to. There are people parting so the guy can pass, and Kuja asks quietly who THAT guy is that everyone's acting like this.
"Do you live under a rock? That's Lord King!"
8/ CW for body horror. Experience some of Kuja's earliest memories! Be aware and alive and also have no functioning senses! Communicate psychically with a mysterious old man who you know implicitly is your boss! Try and move your body while you have incomplete musculature! But for some reason, you don't feel scared. You don't really feel much of anything at all, beyond anticipation for the future.
9/ Queen Brahne is brought by her retinue to see the two unfortunates who had washed up in Alexandria on a wrecked boat, in the early hours. The woman and child look near identical, both bearing small black horns on their foreheads... but the woman, obviously the mother, has regrettably passed away. Brahne muses that the girl looks just like her poor departed daughter, [name redacted]... She died mere days ago, and they had yet to announce the loss.
Discussion goes on around Brahne about the slumbering girl's future. Brahne interrupts, and tells the physician on hand to remove her horn.
Starting now, this girl's name is [name redacted]. Her daughter never passed.
10 / A small spinning crystal in a cloudy void, beautiful and fragile. Kuja, red as he is today, comes to a stop floating before it, wild eyed. He talks to himself, briefly, about how tiny it is, that he can't believe that the mother crystal could be so slight and exposed.
He reaches out with a trembling hand-- and the memory cuts there.
Destruction of Coriolis (cw: death, body horror)
Summary: En route to a city with Scar (nobody knows who he is, it's fine), who notes that the town is unusually quiet. On arriving, the town seems empty at first, until you go into a building, at which point you're attacked by a Null, the husk of what remains after your soul/essence has been forcibly ripped from your body. :) Turns out there were still people in the city hiding after the first attacks died down, but they begin attacking again en masse and feeding on the magic from the Veloi tree outside the city, ultimately leading to the world's destruction. Fight them or don't! Just avoid getting hit by their claws--either they're so cold they burn (and hurt), or they'll latch into your metaphysical being and start pulling you out of alignment with your physical body. Not fun!!

yuri leclerc | fire emblem warriors: three hopes | ren
Memory Prompts:
1. Home Sweet Home
Follow a ten-year-old boy back to his house. His clothes are torn, his gait is off...the kid looks like he took a beating, and he may well have! He approaches a small house, and rather than entering the front door, he circles around back and climbs awakwardly through an open window. There, he peels off his ruined shirt, revealing a litany of scars and bruises, along with a few fresh bandages.
The boy makes surprisingly efficient work of cleaning himself up, replacing his shirt... And pausing to dig some coins out of his pocket, he deposits these in a drawer where other money has already been stowed. He looks damn tired... Until his mother calls a name that no one in the town has heard before, one you don't quite catch. His expression brightens instantly, and he leaves to greet his mother.
2. A Mad Ploy 🔒 (Byleth)
A young man travels through a series of underground tunnels lit by torches. The way is labyrinthine, and it seems to be terribly easy for one to get lost, yet the young man travels with purpose until he comes to a chamber.
There, a man dressed recognizably as clergy is bent over the surprisingly fresh — or perhaps well-preserved — body of a woman with pale skin and green hair. He's rambling at the hurried pace of one obsessed:
"Soon, very soon now, Sitri, everything is almost ready for the ritual. I'll bring you back, you'll see—"
The young man witnessing this does not announce himself, the disgust plain on his painted features.
3. Belief
In this memory, Yuri is himself as others recognize him. His surroundings are a simple makeshift church in what, if one roams about, is a military camp bedecked in blue standards. It's late at night, and Yuri is quite alone, hands clasped together and head bowed in prayer.
What's he praying for? A man with spiky, bright violet hair approaches him, asking just that. Yuri tells him, matter-of-factly, that he always prays for their safety and success before battle.
Miscellany
There's the possibility of playing with other memories if discussed, depending on what you're interested in.
Yuri's presence or level of involvement on these can be flexible. He'll be more tight-lipped about his childhood than anything else. He did a lot of things because needs must.
If you'd likd to plot, hit me up!

Qiqi / Genshin Impact / Zazo
I can't think of a lot of closed memories I could share for her off the top of my head, she's not got a TERRIBLY large amount of canon, but I'll be putting some in the bank for her. But that doesn't mean I'm not open to ideas.
If you need a °-° companion to keep (heh) cool during wtf this is, Qiqi is your gal.

i'm open to doing closed memories with anyone interested~~. there's stuff in kuja's backstory that i would consider maybe not a great idea to toss into the 'anybody can see this' pot, but could be fun placed into the right character's hands. let's plot! I can go digging in his brain for things that might fit a certain vibe of cr you might like to go toward
wrt open memories for kuja, im tossing in maybe 4 or 5, plus a couple for queen brahne. obviously kuja won't really be able to go experience memories alongside anyone, day of the event, as he'll be a tad busy. but! as the literal center of the blast zone, he's gonna be having weirrrrrrrrd dreams for weeks. I'll tap anyone i decide to have him have seen a memory of n let them know
Whoever wants in to bust open the door to kuja let's form a lil team here. Other characters are welcome to come approach him after, I just don't want the puzzle room thread to get too topsy turvy.

rinne amagi | ensemble stars | yana
Memory Prompts: Rinne had a very different personality when he was younger, so I'd like to give some characters a chance to see it. He was a smart, kind and noble kid. Maybe too smart...
- Rinne and Hiiro playing in the forest and Rinne carrying Hiiro back home.
- A young Rinne secretly escaping from the village and to the city and discovering a lot of things for the first time. Idols! Soda! Pizza!?
- (cw: child abuse) Rinne being dragged back to the village, beaten up, and kept in a room for days as punishment.
That's all I have! Let me know if you want to plot or work with something in particular. Rinne will be curious about the auroras and want to dispel them before anyone sees him being cute, but I'm busy with personal matters at the moment, so I won't be involving him in that. Hit me up on plurk at

eula lawrence / genshin impact / blair
Memory Prompts: okay so tbh i just want people to explore mondstadt in her point of view, kind of like how eula's story quest plays out? good news is that we can explore mondstadt, wheeee!! bad news is that you and eula will get kicked out of every establishment and be actively hated on just because you're hanging out with her.... that's fun.
flowerworks or kagamihara#8796 and ill pen you in!
alternatively i could make up some stuff in her childhood since we know that she went through hellish training by her family. wanna know why she can endure the cold as a kid? or general rough education by her own tutors? let me know via

Byleth Eisner | Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes
Memory Prompts:
⁂ For Three Hopes Byleth, there's only two canon scenes I can link for a memory prompt, one of which is when he was possessed by Sothis. Since he's forgotten how to use Divine Pulse, however, Sothis ZAWARDOing Shez appears as teleportation - much like in the cutscene.
⁂ Second one is when Arval hijacked Shez's body and tried to murder Byleth (there's so much possession in this game). Basically Byleth fighting for his GODDAMN LIFE while actually trying not to hurt Shez, since he's clearly under someone else's control.
⁂ For general memories: one of the many battlefields Byleth has fought on, where his overwhelming power has his enemies calling him 'demon' or 'monster'. Byleth himself shows no emotion when cutting his enemies down, and seems very much like he's just walking to the market to get eggs or milk or something. Notably, however, he doesn't attack enemies who have either surrendered or flee from him. He only eliminates threats, after all.
If people want to have specific memories (like, childhood ones or something), I can hash stuff out. But those two above are what anyone can nab, if they have a character who wants to empathise with possession or dehumanisation or whatnot. There would've been the memory where Jeralt told him about the whole Crest Stone functioning as his heart deal but.... Byleth's forgotten that, lol.

Memory Prompts: Barnaby has a much darker past than he likes to let on under his superhero facade, and there are certain things about his current circumstances back home he just won't talk about, so this could be a good way to get to know him better. Some ideas:
- Right before he arrived in Austice, Barnaby sacrificed himself in a museum bombing in order to protect one of the museum staff. He took a direct blast from a bomb, and as Kotetsu informed him, he has been in a coma since. So even if he escapes Helltown for good, there's no guarantee he'll survive when he gets home. He hasn't told any of his CR about this and has no plans to, so memshare is perfect for it.
- His Batman origin story. His parents were murdered when he was a child, and he spent the next twenty years of his life obsessed with vengeance. He's mellowed out since and realises there are better things to live for than revenge, but seeing a memory like this would help others understand why he became a hero to begin with, and why he's caring towards young orphans like Anya.
- That one time Barnaby went brainwashed and feral and tried to kill Kotetsu. he... he got better??? But they've had a complicated history compared to the partnership they have today.
I'm also down for other ideas you might find interesting, even if it's just day to day stuff like what superhero work looks like for Kotetsu and Barnaby, since a lot of non-modern characters don't have a frame of reference for it. just lmk!

also viz won't let me see the forbidden kotetsu murder scene but kuja would wax RHAPSODIC about feral bunny

Marcus Grimm | Tales of the Rays
Memory Prompts: Here's the grab bag of "do you want to learn terrible things about the Rays world? about Phil? get to know Marcus a little better?" I'm open to a lot of different things, but some of the low hanging fruit here while I decide what I'll write up:
- Meet Marcus' least favorite Phil as they cordially try to kill each other! Featuring the most innocuous reason Marcus was finishing his drink for the "underhanded methods" NHIE.
- See Marcus bickering with his alternate self, also featuring an adorable mini-Phillip. I can either unseal the nebulously canon interdimensional amusement park lore for this (no I will not explain unless my sinful hand is forced) or I can write up possible headcanon scenes.

Memory Prompts: Diluc has lived a very colorful life despite being only 22-23 years old. That said, here is a sampling that may be subject to change:

Memory Prompts: Ala's memories are just her playing around... but anyways,
- It's a rainy autumn day, and you find yourself jumping and splashing in muddy puddles in the middle of a small town very much like the Nest. You have a one-sided mudball fight with people walking down the street just minding their own business when a glob of mud hits the back of their head or you skip up to somebody and smear mud directly across their face. A small black cat with golden eyes watches you from afar as you laugh at people's reactions. Nobody seems to be able to see you, but it's okay, because you're having fun playing by yourself.
- You're crouched outside an old house surrounded by a bunch of kittens who keep trying to shove their faces into the bag of pretzels in your hands, when you hear a loud crack from above- another crack, a thump. Deciding to investigate, you enter the house and make your way up to the second story, where you find a boy lying flat on his back with broken tiles and other debris on top of him from the hole in the roof above. One of his arms is broken, splintered bone broken though the skin, and several nails are stuck in his stomach where he's bleeding out next to a dropped nail gun.
- It's dark and warm, smelling of hot chocolate and cinnamon buns from where you're curled up underneath a kotatsu with a friend. Under the thick blanket, it gets harder and harder to breathe, your lungs start to burn, but your body feels like concrete and you cannot move. You stay like this for a very long time; the memory seems to stretch on forever.
- You stand in the middle of a living room, lights off but there is a faint glow behind drawn curtains: flickering flame and shadows of people, the murmuring of a gathering crowd that pitches into a shout as a crash can be heard from a broken window in the kitchen under which a lit torch rolls across the floor, fire eating curling wallpaper. You run to the front door to escape, but are met by an angry mob that blocks the way. One of them swings a torch at your face, hair catching fire and skin blistering. Outside, the crowd's words take form: they shout accusations about being a murderer, a monster who kills with no remorse, how they should have given you the death penalty instead of jail because if you got out you would have just started killing again. A shovel swings towards your face, your hands coming up just in time to block the blow, but it pulls back and comes a second time and this time the force of the blow brings you down and the world goes dark.
- A mob around a bonfire, the slow beat of enka in the background thrumming like heartbeat. You're being crowded, shoved to the side as if nobody can see you, so close that when you back up it puts you right up against the fire, no longer warm and welcoming but angry and searing. So you make yourself small, roosting on top of the head of a boy who can see you, who lifts you up high in the air and spins the both of you around as if dancing. The people around the two of you notice and copy the new dance move, everybody's hands in the air cupped around an invisible nothing, and you can't help but laugh as the boy leads a conga line around the bonfire, laughter blending into laughter as the people dance wildly and scream death metal and have the time of their lives.
- A starry sky spreads out all around you as you soar through the air, doing loop-de-loops and divebombs and long glides as far as the wind will carry you over treetops and rooftops and a large lake. Amongst the stars, the moon glows almost full but not yet, and when you land on soft grass, the stars come with you, golden fireflies following in your wake.

tsurumaru ❀ touken ranbu ❀ eski
Memory Prompts:
I'm thinking of running this kind of in a choose-your-own-adventure format because I think that's more fun than dumping a lot of tl;dr you can't really respond much to. It's going to be a little limiting in places because these are events that have already happened but I'm going to try my best to give some creative leeway here.
Tsuru is actually a sad white-haired anime boy and now is the time to find out.
† MEMORIES OF SHIMABARA
cw: death, religion
For the CYOA, your character will take on the role of someone in Tsuru's squad and you'll follow him through certain points.
- Intentionally leading the army into a hopeless battle. It's going to be very obvious that they'll suffer heavy casualties and Tsuru's goal is to make sure they lose lives
- The final moments when Tsuru releases a prisoner so they can be betrayed for Historical Accuracy™.
- The aftermath when Tsuru is alone with Ookurikara (played by your character now!) and Tsuru screams at the moon and sea for a bit
I'm going to take a little bit of creative liberty to make the scenarios flow naturally and are fun for both sides but come learn that Tsuru is,❀ CANON UPDATE HINTS?
❀ ORIGIN STORY-ish
I say implied because Tsuru actually forgot... that his first master was a child that was murdered in a political struggle. 😊
This is going to be a MUCH shorter memshare but basically you'll get to visit Tsuru's first resting place which is... a grave. It'll be a dark, nondescript void and you'll just sort of get to chat with him a little bit. I'm going to approach this as him thinking he's talking to another spirit? his master? (you) in the afterlife because spirit things OK. He'll be kind of sad but largely at peace until he's stolen from the grave. Catch him absolutely losing it when his peace is shattered and the memory will probably end there.

Memory prompts: let's do some horror y'all
So like Eski, I'm thinking of running this in a more interactive manner! Rather than watching explicit memories play out, characters will be dropped into more metaphorical horror-aligned scenarios of Kaeya's mindscape, because I love playing horror shit and also so I don't have to retcon that much when canon inevitably destroys all my headcanon in the upcoming months. (I will also do specific explicit memories for anyone who requests it for CR!)
A few potential scenarios I'm envisioning characters can be dropped into:
...and others! please i just wanna play some horror let me fuck people up

Or another one that could be considered r00d.

Memory Prompts:
BLANKET WARNING FOR UNREALITY and DANGANRONPA V3 SPOILERS
💔 !!cw: child abuse referenced!! Everything is distorted. You can't make out the faces that surround you, but you know they're there. There's shouting. There's two people, and they're yelling at each other. You step by, awkwardly, trying not to draw attention to yourself. They pay you no heed until your stomach rumbles. You stand there motionlessly as the room begins to jitter. There's a dirty, stained kitchen that is never cleaned. There's a pristine kitchen that looks polished and prim. They're both where you are. They're not where you are at all. Those people are people you love. People you hate. They're your parents. At least that's clear. Intermixed with the garbage that you can only imagine is your dad's face, you can make out a smile. He's smiling at you.
It's a lie.
You learned from the best, after all.
🎲 You're young. The size of your hands means you're about 10-13, at the oldest. You have a bag on your back, and on that back rests the entirety of your world, your existence, your being. You walk into a library and sign up to get onto the computers. You get onto it, open up a chatroom, and see your friends. One message is sent to you privately.
The plan is in motion.
Two images are sent. One is an image of a bank statement belonging to a corporation you know is corrupt. They're broke. The next is an image that makes you smile. DICE. You send a message in return.
The world is mine.
🎹 Everyone is at the end of their rope. You're in a dangerous situation - the most dangerous situation of your life. You feel sick, you feel tired, you feel like you're going to collapse but you have to keep going. You can't give up hope. Giving up hope is letting Them win. Whoever is running this, whoever is--no. That's what everyone else is thinking. That's so easy to get hooked onto. That toxic positivity is something that They want. You swallow and your dry throat elicits a cough. No one pays attention, because they're getting ready to run that endurance course again. The Death Road of Despair, they call it.
At the front stands a young lady who still seems resolute. She's beaten down, but she refuses. You admire that, in a way. It's stupid. It's so stupid. But you admire it.
You can't let it keep going, though. If everyone keeps going, they'll grow to hate her. She doesn't deserve it. They'll turn on each other. It'll turn into 'who is the weakest link? Who deserves to stay here? Who can't keep going, isn't worth keeping, can we sacrifice the dead weight?' They're banking on that. Everyone has their limits. And no matter what, someone will end up hated.
Might as well be you. That's an idea. Kay-yay-day is a good enough hero. You smile. Every story needs a hero. Every story needs a villain. You'll unite them under a cause, whether they like it or not.
And then you speak, feigning a pained expression. And everyone listens.
🔍 Rantaro is dead. Kay-yay-day is dead. You not only saw the body of one, but then the execution of another. But things turned around near the end, and not only did you lose your heroine....you gained a new hero. You're standing in the cafeteria in the morning surrounded by students, anxiety making adrenaline pump through your veins. There's nothing happening, but you're still jittery. Still anxious. It shows, because you speak with such rehearsed performance. If you weren't thinking over everything you said, you'd die. You'd get killed, you'd die, you'd be dead, you have to outthink, outmaneuver, outlast until you find out the ringleader behind this.
And then you hear the hero arrive.
"Good morning." He says, and you notice, much like the others - the hat hiding his eyes is missing. He looks...confident. He looks capable. He looks like a hero. The words come out, less rehearsed.
"You finally got rid of that emo hat! Is this cuz Kaede died or whatever?"
Tenko chides you for being insensitive, but characteristically, Shuichi just shrinks away, trying to boil it down to nothing. He has a gentle heart, despite it all. But those are the sort of people who are worth the effort.
When people aren't looking, your smile turns a bit more genuine.
Despite it all, he makes you feel at ease.
🔪 You've been feuding with this girl from the start. Maki Harukawa soon has you cornered, dead to rights. You look up and barely meet her eyes. Those red, piercing eyes. She hates you. She has all the right in the world to, but it's still uncomfortable to be stared at with such pure, unadulterated loathing. She's interrogating you. She's found you out, she KNOWS what you are, you're a Remnant of Despair.
Who is Junko Enoshima?
You're still sitting there on the ground, and you have a feeling that this is the end of your journey. You didn't stop the killing game. You didn't save everyone. This is where your lies have taken you: an abrupt, swift end at the hands of someone who hated you, someone who - despite it all - was probably someone misled, as far as this game went.
You failed.
These are a few starter prompts, but I'm willing to toss out more!

I've got the three memory bank prompts of (human) drivers' test, meeting with Undyne, and Sans's death... But I'm definitely open to other things, like:
fyn | tartaglia
Memory Prompts: Jumping on the Eski/Octa train, I feel like it would be more fun if Tartaglia's memories were more interactive instead of just watching it movie style! So:
all three can branch off into other memories from the specific nation (or we can skip to another nation, etc) if you'd like, so we can always talk and see what you feel like doing!
apart from these there's other memories related to: (fallout with his family and getting sold to the military, the tsaritsa, other harbingers, more fighting, use of delusion (man made elemental magic basically), awakening an ancient god to drown the whole city, some other "fun" things like that) so if you are wanting memories that are a little darker, hit me up and we can hash something out! thank you!

Memory Prompts: Right now I've got a handful that I've written out--do note that even though I've written these memories out as full scenes, this is because I'm offering them up for the memory bank and wanted to provide a full scene for players to make use of as they pleased! If we're threading together, I'm very happy to play these out as more of a CYOA/exploration type deal c: so without further ado...
Semi-CYOA: It's your decision whether you fight or flee, whether you try to save yourself or others, whether you see the end of the world... or lose your soul to the Nulls before the night goes dark.
Flavor 1: Pilot. You're in command of a small two-person craft, maneuvering through space while an unfamiliar man (or familiar, if you've also been through the destruction of Coriolis!) sits in the passenger seat. It's easy enough to tell why he's not piloting, given that the left side of his face is mostly covered by a wide half-mask temple to jaw. Go long enough, and maybe you'll reach your destination...
Flavor 2: Passenger. Standing on the deck of a ship that seems like it would be better suited for the ocean than the skies, you watch as a long, jagged line of nothingness seems to break through the emptiness of space--and Nulls begin to fall to the ship's surface, captured by its artificial gravity and melting out of the shadows.
like a creeper--there's room enough for everybody in this memory, however you'd like to partake. This prompt is a bit more of a "choose your own adventure" type deal than the others, and Wave does not have to be part of these threads! Dusk is someone that has a lot of effect on Wave, but who she doesn't talk about at all outside of veiled references to the type of people she wants to leave behind. Be warned that these threads may nudge into CW territory; let me know if we need to avoid anything!

Memory Prompts: The struggle of playing an OC is that I have to write up everything from scratch, so I'm throwing out some memory ideas and ones I want to share or think would be interesting, and doing full write-ups for whichever I decide to put in the communal bank and what people want to play with.
- Isara, Tabira's younger sister, is testing out a new sword that Tabira has forged. Notably, Isara is not actually as interested in forging swords as she is in actually wielding one and seems to want to properly practice swordsmanship, which is kind of a problem when they're smiths by trade first and foremost. You can also learn they come from a caste-based society.
- Tabira with another girl around her age, apparently meeting in secret. Anjali has brought imported makeup with her and wants to try them out on Tabira, who relents after she flustered resistance because it'd make her happy. Anjali is pleased with the results and kisses Tabira on the corner of her mouth afterwards.
- (cw: kidnapping) Tabira and Anjali have made plans to run away from the city and meet up...except Anjali's family has caught them in the act. They both try to run anyway but end up captured. Tabira gets dragged away to somewhere else. It is not hard to figure out this does not end well for her.
- How Sunrise got her current name ("Mr. Radiant Voice")
- Why Sunrise wears gloves all the time ("Mr. Day")
- Sunrise's history of ghostbusting and her dealing with someone else who is ???undead??? ("Ms. Velvet")
- How Sunrise joined the troupe ("Ms. Echo"). To be safe, cw: references to implied abuse because Echo thought that was going on with Sunrise. This one is related to one of her missing memories and her altered memory, so it's possible that this can lead to Sunrise realising something is amiss with her memories.

People are welcome to come across one or all of his memories! All are open. Most are short one-shots if you follow the links. However, Butterfly is the full story, so I don't expect most, except the canon familiar, to react to that one.
