FEBRUARY PLOTTING

☀ Hi friends! As noted earlier last month, Austice now operates on an invite system without a player cap. More information is given on the game info and application pages.
☀ A game calendar has been added to the ooc community for a quick view of what posts/events are coming up. For any event or player plot that affects the game as a whole, please let me know so I can update the calendar!
☀ I sat and thought about investigations a little more and I'm going to change things around a little this month to see how it works. For February, investigations during the first three days after the event goes up (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) will be limited to players who did not participate in any investigations last month to initiate, although any character can be included. After the first three days, any character can initiate an investigation. Instead of a monthly limit, I'm going to set it so that characters can be involved in only one investigation at a time, aka they will have to finish an investigation first before tackling another.

Character/Canon: Arashi Narukami from Ensemble Stars!! is the most beautiful person in the entire world, according to her... Confident and sociable, she's the type of girl who tends to make friends easily. She also has a pretty bad habit of playing the neutral party and acting as a mediator, but look, sometimes your first priority is just keeping everyone friendly. Unfortunately she missed Christmas so she's making Valentine's Day everyone's problem, she love loves, sue her.
Plans: Right now she's a ghost. I'm pretty sure she won't be a ghost for the rest of February, though even if she was, it would not stop the little romance workshop she has going on around the middle of the month! Other than that, she's still new so she's still adjusting to things... Don't ask her why she disappeared last month before the meeting, it's fine, it's okay. It's fine!
I'll also be throwing some of her memories into the communal memory pot for Zazo's event over yonder, I just need to figure them out... and I'm open to doing closed threads for those too, so HMU if you want any flavor in particular!

Character/Canon: He's the runaway monarch of a remote village who went to the city to become an idol, but failed because capitalism. Now he's trying again, letting loose with this new crazy af personality and everything, HOWEVER he has to square off against his brother Hiiro, who just wants him to go home and succeed their father. He pretends to be awful to protect himself and the people he cares for, but he's kind at heart. He likes gambling. There's more on his app, which is in his journal.
Plans: Rinne is a ghost right now, so I have nothing except the drama of the aftermath of his and Hiiro's deaths. I don't have concrete plans on how I want to do that, though.
Gonna focus on tagging everything back at the moment since I've had to make major life adjustments for the past two weeks, but I'll definitely be around for memshare and speed dating and other things.

Character/Canon: Hiiro Amagi from Ensemble Stars!!
He's very friendly and approachable, but also still doesn't know a lot of things about the world due to only having been outside his village for less than a year, and actually integrating with society properly for like... less than half a year. He's very loving and protective of those he cares about, and will fight those who try to hurt or insult them. He's a skilled hunter-gatherer, and will sometimes make stuff for other people like shoes and hats and scarves or bows or whatever, but not as pretty as a professional. He's smart, but also gullible, and may overwork himself if no one stops him.
Some Austice development has affected that unwavering confidence of his, and also amped up his recklessness as well as poor habits from pre-canon manifesting. Now that he's died and Ib's gone, I'm waiting to see what happens to people who were not apped (I assume they were not able to board the train?) before I make plans. However, either way, Hiiro is going to be more subdued in February due to the loss of his little sister and his best friend.
Plans: I'm taking that opportunity to slow down too, because I overdid it in January and I want to try to tame my inbox until then. So I'll be doing closed threads only. Feel free to toss ideas at me for what our characters can do, but as much as possible, I'd like a concrete idea rather than whatever goes just because I want to make sure I'm not overloading myself. I'll probably pick at the memory threads others have and see how I can join romantic plot despite Hiiro not feeling the love in the air, but I'll work on that when the time comes.
If you want to drop our previous threads, feel free to do so especially if they're from December or earlier. I'm okay with handwaving some of them to a conclusion if people need to start anew instead. Thanks!

Character/Canon: also known as the Spindrift Knight, eula is one of the captains in the knights of favonius in mondstadt. she's also the heir of a disgraced clan that used to rule their land with an iron fist, and even though it's been thousands of years since they were overthrown, the townspeople aren't going to let her forget it anytime soon. she's as ice-cold as her element and not to mention her obsession with vengeance, but she's generally very nice and not to mention a very talented dancer in her spare time -- that she currently forgot. whoops!
Plans: HONESTLY i wanna take it easy this month bc 1) i have so many backtags to hit back and 2) eula's going thru it after all that. i rly want some hurt/comfort stuff, make her open up a little... i will be doing some closed memshares and maybe drag her to the vday celebrations even though she'll be very awkward in it so please hang out w her u_u
OH YEAH and she did say that she'll want to kickstart training for the non-combatants so there will be a log for that too! stay tuned, hehe

Joy | Deuce Spade | Twisted Wonderland

Character/Canon: Ex-delinquent trying to be an honor student, despite being dumb and fighty on occasion. Deuce is airheaded and earnest, with a tendency to be a little impulsive sometimes. He's also a wizard in training and can do all kinds of things like fly on broomsticks and summon cauldrons.
Plans: I apped in during the tail end of January so I've been trying to get my bearings. I'll be trying to poke my head into whatever event in order to give him some direction this month. It probably took Deuce a few days to calm down from his "omg impromptu isekai adventure of the unfun variety" panic.

Character/Canon: leona kingscholar is from twisted wonderland, where you as the player character is accidentally brought to night raven college as a new student. unfortunately, you also aren't a mage and a bit of an oddity, but that's also what makes you capable of handling all the various issues that plague the campus. leona is introduced in the second chapter. his focus is to have his particular house (savanaclaw) win the yearly spelldrive tournament, but he knows that every year they get their asses beat by a better dorm despite their best efforts. so THIS year, they decide to cheat. :) they do not succeed.
leona is also the second prince of his homeland, the sunset savanna. because of this, he will never be king as his older brother has also had a son. does this sound familiar to like some kind of plot from a disney movie??? weird. anyway, so there's totally no correlation between having amazing efforts and strength and capabilities yet all of them being wasted because of circumstances he FEELS he can't get around. SO. yeah. bummer. at least he's hot and that's probably the best part about him. leona is a surly, sarcastic, and generally unhappy guy in canon. he believes in the idea of "survival of the fittest" and isn't afraid to do whatever it takes to win. that means if he has to have someone do pretty horrible things on behalf to keep his image clean, then he'll do it. on the other hand, leona also is shown to "love" his nephew (not simba)... and actually kind of does? there are some obvious parallels to scar and leona, but they're not all direct.
here, leona's a little nicer. has more appreciation for siblings. maybe he misses his own a little. maybe he's getting more and more mad when he sees the siblings in game get along. who knows. :)
Plans: this month, i'm going to try to be active in the romance and the mem share events! i say try because i'll also be a little busy in the middle of feb, but it shouldn't slow me down too much. overall i'd like to make this month a little more chill as well.

Kiva | Byleth Eisner | Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes

Character/Canon: Byleth Eisner, aka Ashen Demon, from Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. This is the Byleth that didn't go to Garreg Mach, so is still a very reserved, poorly socialised mercenary, who really wants to make friends but struggles with both parsing his own emotions, and expressing himself. He's a decent guy, though. Just, a bit too blunt for his own good.
Plans: Since he was rescued from the Island, to build CR and get him settled into the Nest! So far he's going to be helping Eula out with training people on how to fight, and there's a Lost & Found thing I'm gonna do with him, for those interested. This month I'm just gonna let him gather CR, hit his own rhythm, etcetera.
Others: Someone get this man a cheesecake please. Ala tempted him with one but she didn't deliver. Sadness.

Character/Canon: Andy Hinomiya from ZKC. He's a power nullifier from a world full of espers, who are also discriminated against by Normals (those without powers and who are in the majority). Andy is also an ex-spy and while he seems deceptively normal and well-adjusted... he's a hot mess. Guy is like a cosmic punching bag yet somehow remains a decent guy? Andy how.
Plans: Andy's in that sweet spot of he gets involved enough but he tries not to be too involved fhdfdfh I'm always up for more CR with him, and he's a professional dogsbody, so if anyone legit needs helping moving things, or building things, or just needs a grunt, Andy's your guy! He's also good at playing the straight man to people's shenanigans.

Candace | Barnaby Brooks Jr. | Tiger & Bunny

Plans: I have a few ideas for the memshare event, which is ideal because Barnaby doesn't like to talk about the darker parts of his past much and he's basking in the fact his entire life story isn't public knowledge here. TIME TO CHANGE THAT and dredge up all the deets that would never come out otherwise... :') He'll generally try and avoid viewing CR's memories on purpose, though, because memory intrusion is something of a trigger for him and he wouldn't want to inflict that on other people. I'm open to him accidentally stumbling into someone's memories, though.
He won't be involved in the Valentine's Day stuff
because he'll plan a romantic evening with Kotetsubut I'd love any general opportunities to build new or existing CR this month! In general he'll be sticking to his duties of patrolling the town and he tends to keep active to keep himself in fighting form, so it's not difficult to find him.Others:

Character/Canon: Kaname Tojo from Ensemble Stars!! ...... is a one shot character essentially I'm sorry if I've fooled anyone otherwise. He has one story to himself and information about him is otherwise scattered across various mentions, a favorite being how he once drew a senior of his with six wings and the power to destroy anyone if he opened his eyes -- from which he would gain yet another mole. Kaname acts selfishly, has a higher opinion of himself than he should outwardly, and is in general a brat who's gotten into more fights here than he has friendly instances... but at heart he's a good kid who works really hard for what he's got, takes the shortest paths to his goals, and genuinely believes that everyone should be able to do what they want and be happy doing it.
That belief is put in the reasoning of "If others can't, then what about me" but he goes through a lot to make sure that everyone, everyone can have that sort of future -- Kaname is an idealistic young man, though easily battered at his core and reacts very badly to rejection and abandonment of any kind.
In Austice, he goes by "Yodaka" (as in The Nighthawk Star) and is currently suffering from "freedom". The fact he can make friends is terrifying. The fact people want to be his friend is terrifying. He has never had a friend (in title) and he isn't sure he wants to start now, because bad fortune has only ever come upon those around him and boy if that has not stopped here! Additionally, and most importantly, is that he looks exactly like his older brother HiMERU save for some notable differences such as hair, height, and naturally the moment he opens his mouth it's "I" and not "HiMERU".
... sometimes he does still slip into that role, though, when he's nervous, so chars familiar can note how easily he "mimics" his brother too.
Plans: Right now!!!! He is a judge for the romance workshop Arashi's holding due to owing her some stuff! Please come and bring your best to embarrass him. Feelings are not his forte and he's sixteen years old he'll get flustered with a good enough poem and yes he'll be pissed about it. But Kaname does have to be a good boy.
ummm I won't be doing much memshare with him outside of cast actually, because I'd like him to be able to unwind more and get... used to his new home... he misses the island actually it 1. was warm 2. had sugar 3. had stars yes it was doomed and he nearly died on it but see the three points? He misses those. He misses them a lot. But!!!! I'm always up for throwing him around at new things since Kaname likes to broaden his horizons "as an idol" so he can one day feel good enough about himself to be equal to the two most important people in the world to him: his brother and his not-friend-not-crush-person who his brother hates and has banned Kaname from interacting with but Kaname has definitely not been following that particularly order and now it is only going to be easier and also harder to have a tryst or two.

Character/Canon: Qiqi (Genshin Impact) is a quiet, taciturn young girl who also happens to be dead. She has significant memory problems, but is very accustomed to dealing with it. She's an airy, emotionally stable character who sometimes gets up to some truly oddball shit.
Kuja (Final Fantasy IX) is
the platonic ideal of a queer-coded villaina theatrical, childish man with a giant pile of neurosis hidden under a veneer of noble airs. He's dying and making it everyone's problem this month. After the memshare plot, he's going to be very depressed and dampened because he finally accepts he's trapped here For Real and is convinced he's going to lose himself and there's little he can do about it, one way or another.Plans: hoo boy
Qiqi I am going to focus on tagging out with more.
On the 11th, Kuja is going to enter Trance for the first time since he got here, and try to end reality again. It won't be obvious that's what he's doing, at least, because 'plan: end existence' mostly just makes everyone's memories start scattering around like he's beating up a feather pillow.
If anyone is interested in being part of Kuja going into Trance, let's please plot! I don't have a set in stone solution to it yet other than knowing "it needs to happen the evening of the 11th." My current idea is he checks on his gem when a thread brings up the topic after forgetting to for a long time, and all of the damage it's taken since he last looked at it is gonna trigger a lot of emotions he's been barely keeping his chin above/bring enough Genuine Immediate Fear For His Life it'll can provoke a Trance.
After that, Andy's gonna nerf his magic for a while and Kuja's gonna be epic depresso, dramatically opposed to his normal flamboyant behavior. Which means me dragging him into the V-Day event will be hilarious.

Tired team mom to a bunch of Tales villains (feat. Mithos, Sync, and Barbatos among others) and a manifestation of part of Phil's heart. He's an all-purpose handyman, a decent cook, and is pretty good-natured considering he was a minor antagonist for an entire arc. If you want a chill guy who will look out for others and may do a bit of murder on the side, he's your man.

- I have investigation ambitions this month! Anyone who needs a little extra muscle for anything, existing CR or not, give him a whistle.

Character/Canon: Ookurikara, Touken Ranbu! He's the spirit of a sword who used to belong to Date Masamune and he is very aloof and isn't here to make friends. Befriend him anyway, I'm begging.

» Kara would like to find out more about where Swan takes people who pay the toll, but he absolutely should not be the only person going to talk to her about this. Someone tolerable should also come so actual communication can happen.

» Sword repairs! Last month was a lot and his sword needs maintenance!!
» Last but not least, Dragonchan! This is basically when his dragon tattoo decides to go on an adventure without him. Yes, it has a mind of its own and can separate from him if it wants to. It's considerably friendlier than Ookurikara himself, but it's still a part of him so he'll be looking for it... In the meantime, it can hang out with other people and be nosy! Take it places, show it around, be its friend!

Character/Canon: Tsukasa is the leader of an idol group known as Knights back home! He frequently inserts English words into his speech with perfect pronunciation (I put these in italics to try and demonstrate when he's actually using English vs Japanese) and he's a mix between mature for his age while simultaneously being childish. He's a rich boy who doesn't yet have much experience in the real world outside of what he was raised with, and he believes strongly in chivalry, behaving properly, and sportsmanship. He's a hard worker, very loyal, and easy to bully.
Plans: Nothing set in stone. Currently, he's heartbroken because of a falling out with his cousin, as well as believing that one of the members of his unit might have genuinely died instead of having temp died. As a result, until they are properly back, he may be a little scarce for this first week of the month.
After that, though, I really want him to work on music things! He wants to keep up his idol activities. As well as practicing sword fighting because... HE HAS ACQUIRED A SWORD. He's a REAL knight now.
Anyway, I really don't have anything planned outside of that and want to work on some CR. I'm not sure he would do the speed dating because he would say idols aren't allowed to date anyway. But finding a reason to get him involved somehow would be fun. I mostly just want him out and about.

Character/Canon: tartaglia (aka childe, aka fatui scum, aka pumpkin spice boy) is a self-proclaimed "bad guy" who does admittedly do some questionable stuff and is involved with an organisation that's basically reviled in genshin story writing like team rocket in pokemon ... anyway, they have some overarching goals to overthrow the natural order of the world etc etc and has some truly nefarious people working for them, but honestly tartaglia is only really interested in fighting strong people and becoming stronger himself (so he can overthrow the world.... yes no maybe). anyway, even with being a bad guy who very nearly committed intentional genocide by drowning a whole city, he is a pretty chill dude who is just really, really, really into bloodshed. he also likes fishing.
Plans: no plans at the moment, i've been out of rp for a few weeks due to rl and i'm trying to get back into the swing of things. i would love to have more cr (positive, negative, neutral "what a weirdo"??). with february things i am still looking at what's in the works with player plots but i am keen to throw him into speed dating and memshare and all the fun stuff!

Character/Canon: Ebenholz Urtica, age 19, is the last living descendent of some very evil royalty. He was a child experiment when he was pretty young, leading to him having cool magic powers and a very evil brain ghost of his grandpa. Most of his life after that has been spent in house arrest, so he's both very jaded and mean, but also hopelessly spoiled and sheltered. He pretty much expects to die before he hits 25, so his social skills are...bad!
He's also a like a goat person thing. It's a furrybait gatcha game. Don't worry about it.
Plans: Despite his least helpful efforts Ebenholz made it off the island with the others! He's now wandering around the Nest, being a total newbie and just getting situated. I'm really looking to get new CR with just about anyone right now, so I'd love to do valentines day hijinks or memeshare threads - just about anything! Please hang out with my unbearable guy, gomen.

Memory shares! The first links to the plotting comment there with a variety of options for threading with Papyrus, the second links directly to the three I'm putting into the open memory pool.
I'm hoping to toss him at a few others' memories, especially if they're ones that have some fun synchronicity / contrast with his own experiences or his expectations of those characters. I went with memories that I thought might have fun hooks for people - the patchwork fake memories of a human driver's test to emphasize the gem fuckery, the Undyne conversation to follow up on his views about using the souls as fuel, and Sans's death to make that more common knowledge and to let people know what to expect from monster deaths, should either die. But I'm definitely down for a couple more lighthearted things on his end - just the "wait, you're from underground underground" realization is fun.
I may toss him at the dating post, will be playing that by ear. Papyrus isn't seeking a love life here, but who doesn't like being sent to the friend zone, friends are great, etc.
Past that I don't currently have plans, mostly just a thing of following up on developments through the game and continuing cr with the various twists and turns. He'll be starting the month out somewhat weary from the train teleporting adventure.

Character/Canon: Matoba Seiji from Natsume Yuujinchou! Shady exorcist man! His specialty aside from destructive magic is archery. Has a right eye cursed by a youkai who shows up and tries to eat it once a month. IT'S BACK BABY. Hates non-humans. Conceal don't feel is how he lives his life- but he's a shoujo character so there's Many Feel deeply, deeply repressed.....
Plans:
• Most importantly, I will be bringing back Matoba's curse! You can find a slightly tl;dr version of the information here. You only need to worry about the top half of the post for the canon info, the bottom section about possession doesn't apply here.
So how will Matoba's curse be affecting you?
• MEMSHARES! I'd like to customize these to specific CR so hit me up if you'd like creepy exorcist lore, creepy Matoba lore, depressing Matoba lore, gay Matoba lore, etc. Matoba's curse will be hiding itself in some memories where it was originally present and he won't realize it's there until it's too late, heh heh............ Your character can therefore come face to face with the curse before it actually strikes. It feels really, really bad.
• INVESTIGATIONS: Matoba, Tsuru and Aoi are going to investigate the seal that broke in the church when it burned (like 2 months ago yes we are finally doing it I swear,) and I think Matoba is also helping Alice out with investigating if his arrival upset the dead last month? Although now that everyone is uh. awake and moving around maybe he can ask them fgddfgs

Character/Canon: It's Wave!!! A young woman who was isekai'd, went home to her Olde Timey world and went "wow I want more than this, actually" :)

I've also offered up a handful of memories for Kuja's mini-memoria and I'm absolutely down for running into auroras/memories with others; events like these give such great opportunity for CR growth and I'm here for it.
Wave's also possibly moving in with the boys this month u_u no more squatting in random houses where nobody can find her... it's ~growth~ y'all

Character/Canon: Akira Kurusu from Persona 5 Royal; a highschooler/barista/insert one of too many part-time jobs here that is supposedly on his best behavior during his probation by day, a Phantom Thief with magic powers trying to reform society one heart at a time by night. Akira tends to not draw too much attention to himself, described in official material as "an unassuming student", but he does have a habit of doing a bunch of little jobs for people that might catch people's eyes... Maybe you've already seen him running around, or helping Diluc serve people at the bar?
Honestly, though, the reality is this - he's a cat. The ones that are well-behaved and then they look you right in the eye as they push a glass off the table. He's a handful and a half (except for when he's not).

I got Akira up on the event yesterday with some cute?? sad?? cat stuff, he'll be around for speed dating with Hiiro, and a bunch of memories he'd rather not get out are going to be floating around in auroras when Zazo's player plot kicks off.
