NOVEMBER PLOTTING
OOC
☀ We are currently at 20/30 players! As a reminder, players may have up to two characters in the game, and may app their second after passing two consecutive months of AC, of which the initial check-in AC does count.
☀ An OOC post for discussing investigations and theories can be found here
☀ An IC infoshare meeting (dated 10/31) can be found here
☀ And an unofficial game discord can be found here

☀ Looks out the window... The weather continues to get colder as winter approaches, averaging in the high 50Fs to low 20Fs during the day and night respectively. The first two weeks of the month will see on-and-off rain, though it is not yet cold enough for snow to stick, and the wind blows strong enough at times to break off tree branches and send them flying through the air to smack people in the face if they're not paying attention.
☀ In the first half of the month during the rainy spell, the liquified mud of the graveyard acts like quicksand, dragging down anybody who tries to trample over its bones. The lake water, curiously, feels warmer than usual, although still cold. Do not drink the lake water. Animals in the forest appear more agitated than usual, prone to take the initiative and jump at people's faces rather than hiding or running.
☀ The fog gets thicker at night, and there is the feeling of more and more eyes following anybody who wanders outside past dark. Humanoid figures can be seen shrouded in fog at times— running, sitting, stabbing— but just like the town's "monsters," will disappear once a character approaches. For the characters, there will be a feeling of uncertain familiarity towards these shadows, kind of like when you think you recognize somebody but cannot remember their name and maybe you do not know them after all.
☀ Despite Lark's insistence that they'll be here soon, the rest of the townspeople do not magically appear the first Saturday of the month, although the event post will tie into this. There are pending investigations for the train and the dogs, so we'll see if the pit fall spike net interrogation trap does its job, and/or if we're just going to sit back and watch the church bell be destroyed.
☀ No matter how well they've been taken care of, every character's gemstone seems to have an extra chip in it, with its edges marred black.

Character: Ib
Canon: Ib
Plans: Still sort of vague at this point. I do want to try to get Ib someone to stay with so she isn't on her own anymore. I'm also planning on getting her out to explore a little more so anyone who wants to go with her for some shenanigans would be very welcome. Buuut FYI I am going to a convention this weekend so I will be late to the event. Hopefully I won't miss too much.

very bad influencewonderful role model. And thanks to his description she is convinced that Hiiro is some kind of super hero who fights bears blindfolded.

If you're open to Hiiro adopting her they're in the poppy hall with Mayoi living in the attic. He can get her a curtain for privacy and they will have meals of 6 eyed fishes cooked by Niki or something.

But that sounds delightful. She'll poke her head into the attic every now and again to make sure Mayoi isn't lonely. And for all she knows, six eyed fish might taste great!
