My name is Siren (They/Them) and this is my first time participating in a game like this. I have never used Dreamwidth in all my life until today so please pardon the dust! I have also decided to pick up the ceiling gremlin himself, thus completing ALKALOID as a unit. Mayoi is probably not as put together as the last one. He’s dealing with a good helping of guilt from his final actions before waking up in Austice, but damn is he gonna try to be okay!
Anyone who’s interacted with Mayoi in the past or if it’s your first time meeting him, feel free to throw your muses at him. I’ll take them all! Just know that this Mayoi is a brand spanking new slate with no recollection of the life he had before. He also has… all his hair back!! A stark sign!!
Don’t expect this man to fight because he’s constantly on flight! He’ll be clueless for awhile, trying to piece together his bearings and also his life…

I do not know how these intro posts work but I am very excited to drop kick Aira into this absolute mess.
For those not familiar with him, Aira is the fourth member of ALKALOID and the only one missing from their number up to this point. He's got a bit of an attitude on him and sometimes he speaks without thinking but he means well.
Given the current state of things he likely won't be much help. He's not a fighter and physically he is about as intimidating as a marshmallow. There is nothing threatening about him. He will, however, be glued to his unitmates' sides. Hiiro in particular.
If anyone wants to plot with him (or backdate things when he was around on tdms. Or continue threads in general), please message me! Or we can talk here. I am not picky.

hopefully this isn't too redundant considering we do plotting posts, but idk, i like the idea of explicitly setting out for handwaving and the mindset that puts me in.
I for one know there's characters I would love to have more scenes with where the wiles of time and circumstance haven't really played ball with getting threads done, so this would be super helpful for me, at least. Everyone's living in the same small town, after all!
Outline information they may have learned about each other, and dynamics we'd like to handwave our characters having built where threads might not have let us get it down yet! Get past sticking points in your CR, or identify standing emotional notes you're excited to sit down and thread -- idk just. vibes. go with the vibes.

This game is held together by rubber bands and chewing gum both mechanically and storywise so i am sorry in advance for anything i have to explain about it in the future. I am also in sorry in advance for Add, because he is kind of a huge asshole half the time and a cringe weirdo the other half of the time. He is 100% convinced he is some kind of manipulative villain mastermind playing 4D chess with all the people around him, except he is CONSTANTLY making up excuses to do Good Guy Protagonist Things and delay his totally real evil schemes that he has never actually completed once. He had some chardev but then I memlossed half of it whoops.
He is also a scientist/engineer who specializes in ✨cool fantasy robots✨ to the point where he made himself into a cyborg. Is your character a robot and/or cyborg and/or has cool technology? Congrats, you are now his best friend and he will never leave you alone I am also sorry for this. He can be kind of extreme with this (like "literally stalk a robogirl from the bushes for 3 years" kind of extreme) so I do have an opt out in my permissions if you want me to keep it toned down. Or you can just kick his ass tbh he deserves it, his friends have been trying to train it out of him it's a work in progress.

A game that makes no fucking sense and you're going to have to accept that about this canon. Ain is an angel but is hiding it (poorly) by telling everyone he's a priest, except for the fact that his name is the equivalent of "John God". His mom is a Goddess. Don't think too hard about it. I am also apologizing upfront for him because he'll give your character a shitty nickname and never call them by name. RIP. The good news is that if you become his friend he'll love you forever and probably kill and/or die for you so?? hey. All good.

Byleth's Lost & Found

Good news: everyone on the Island has been saved! Which means Byleth is now free to roam the Nest, and I can finally implement this idea: The Lost & Found.
The details can be found on the OOC submission post on Byleth's journal, but I'll talk about it here too: essentially, much like in Three Houses, Byleth will be able to find lost items (uh, usually) and return them to the character they belong to. There will be an IC Catch-All post in the IC community where these interactions can be threaded out, if people want it.
Initially, this will be unofficial - Byleth just finds lost items and returns them to people. But once he figures out that he has become the lost & found guy, he'll put something on the town noticeboard for people to submit their lost items there as well, making it official.
If you want quick CR with Byleth, or just fun threads, pop a request on the linked OOC submission post! Please read the post in full as it explains everything, and if there're any questions, reply to either here or the post's question top-level.

As we all know, our big "to-do" for this month has been to figure out a way to get player characters and NPCs off the island before it dissolves into the void. To that end there's been a lot of discussion, a lot of trial-and-error, and more than a few plans.
But one plan has gone fantastically! ..........until the train from the Nest is now stuck inside the volcano of Firebird Island.
Per Ori and the investigation thread, the party that rode the train to bring it to the island istrapped in one of the underground tunnels leading to the in a large magma chamber--bad!!!
So where does this leave us? Late Friday night, The train team (Hiyori, Kokichi, Still Sunrise, Eula, Kaeya, and Diluc) reached out via the network to let people know that they're trapped, and the alarm's going out! So feel free to assume your character's in the loop about what's going on, because we gotta figure out how to get them all out before we lose the train and everyone on it.
Please use this post to volunteer any ideas/thoughts and spitball ideas and let's get this train to the station!!

Deuce's canon is set in a magic school and takes a lot of inspiration from Disney villains. Deuce is part of the dorm inspired by the Queen of Hearts. He's basically your typical ex-delinquent who is trying to mend his ways. Unfortunately, he's kind of a dumbass, but he usually means well!
He's coming in from the end of Book 5 (and thinks they actually won the contest) so he's going to be in a good mood!

Players must pass AC for at least one month before they are able to extend invites, and they may invite one new player each month.
